Due to the historical circumstances, war and totalitarian rule; open and impartial diaries are rare and therefore are a minor part of the museum collection. Few diaries of Jewish students from the beginning of the 20th century and interwar period have been preserved. Most remarkable amongst the World War II diaries is the diary of the Jewish student Šeina Grama from the town of Prieļi. The diary was written from June 26 1941 till August 8 1941. Similarly significant are diaries by Kalman Linkimer and Elmar Rivošs published later.
