Seminar for teachers “Schools and museums: seeking contact, exploring diversity”

The Jewish community of Riga and the museum “Jews in Latvia” are holding a continuing education seminar for teachers “Schools and museums: looking for contact, exploring diversity”. The seminar will be held on October 23, 2024 in Riga, from 10.00 a.m. to approximately 4.00 p.m. Skolas Street 6, Riga Jewish Community House, “Jews in Latvia” museum.

We invite history, social studies, cultural studies teachers, museum educators and other education workers to participate.

The seminar is a training program coordinated by the Riga municipality (program “Latvian Jewish cultural heritage and Holocaust history in the learning process”), for participation in which employees of educational institutions will be able to receive certificates (8 hours of qualification).
